Explicit Consent Text

This Explicit Consent Form has been prepared pursuant to Articles 5/1 and 6/2 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) to obtain the explicit consent of data subjects who have been duly informed under the Cumhuriyet Avukatları Privacy Notice on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data (“Privacy Notice”) by Cumhuriyet Avukatları (“Cumhuriyet Avukatları” or the “Organization”) acting in the capacity of Data Controller.

1. Scope of Consent and Declaration

I hereby acknowledge and declare that I have been thoroughly informed regarding all personal data pertaining to me, that I have read and understood the Cumhuriyet Avukatları Privacy Notice, and that I am fully aware of my statutory rights.

I hereby give my explicit consent, freely given, specific, and based on informed decision without any undue influence, to the processing of my personal data provided to Cumhuriyet Avukatları for the following purposes:

1. Community, Membership, and Volunteer Relations: Organizing and managing community activities, membership and volunteer applications, professional solidarity networks, and committee working groups in line with the founding vision and legitimate objectives of Cumhuriyet Avukatları,

2. Projects and Initiatives: Enabling participation in, evaluating contributions to, and reporting on projects conducted by research institutes, vision centers, and strategy offices regarding the future of the legal profession, the rule of law, and judicial independence,

3. Event and Organization Management: Planning seminars, panels, training programs, conferences, and networking events; administering registration processes; and coordinating event operations,

4. Communications and Announcements: Sending electronic notifications, newsletters, event invitations, reports, and informational messages via email, SMS, or relevant digital communication channels regarding the initiatives and activities of Cumhuriyet Avukatları,

5. Special Category Data Scope: Processing, in a limited and proportionate manner, data that may be associated with professional solidarity and civil society involvement stemming from the inherent nature and objectives of the Organization,

in compliance with the principles outlined in the Privacy Notice, with appropriate technical and organizational security measures implemented, and sharing such data strictly with service providers, infrastructure operators, and relevant business partners solely to the extent necessary to accomplish these purposes.

2. Revocation of Explicit Consent

I understand that I retain the right to revoke this explicit consent at any time, in whole or in part, without providing any justification, by submitting a written notice to [email protected] or by utilizing the opt-out mechanism provided in electronic communications sent to me.
